The aim of the project was to design a product that eliminates any secondary contact with the user’s Bone Anchored Hearing Aid (BAHA) device. Such contact causes an uncomfortable high pitched noise inside the user’s head. The design shall also be socially acceptable aesthetically in order to encourage the user to feel proud of their device as many users currently prefer to keep it discreet and hidden which leads to low self-esteem.
